Dwelling with Christ and Community

The Parish School

Founded in 2018, The Parish School seeks to meet the particular educational needs of urban youth which are not being met through their current academic options and opportunities. In the process, our goal is to make connections with the families of the children we serve so that we can speak into the multitude of needs that families experience and love them with the Love of Jesus!

We prioritize the enrollment of urban youth in order to equip them to overcome the unique obstacles of their current surroundings. We do this by providing small classrooms for hands-on attention along with a strong art emphasis that correlates with a quality core curriculum. This year, students will help cultivate a community garden in which kids have an opportunity to take part in preparing, planting, and sharing the fruits of the garden. They will also have access to our after school programming that combines crafts, outdoor explorations, and Biblical principles- Our ADVENTURE CLUB. All of these services will be provided free to every participating student.

Community Care. Because we do.

“Community Care.” is our way of connecting with our neighbors to reach into needs and walk alongside the families that live and work around us.

School Partnerships

One of the ways we learn and understand the needs of our community is by partnering with The Parish School. We uncover what student’s families are facing everyday and work creatively to find solutions to empower these families.

Block Parties

We love welcoming the neighborhood around us on monthly basis with our Parish Parties! EIther by Block Parties or Meals in our Event Hall, we love engaging our community while playing games and sharing meals together.

Benevolence

We offer unique benevolent giving to those in need by creating an individual blueprint to address the needs coupled with financial counseling and assistance.

Refugee Partnerships

Since 2012, we’ve been honored to engage with and care for the needs of refugee families in our city. We believe that it is our joy and responsibility to love all our neighbors!

Adventure Club

Combining Wild Explorer’s Club with curriculum from Truth 78, we inspire children to engage in God’s creation and allow their curiosity to lead to amazing discoveries of God’s world!

Open to the community, we welcome children from pre-K through 6th grade to join this after school programming that combines crafts, outdoor explorations, and Biblical principles.
